COMMAND PATCHES – Fatigue
jacket that is in good condition, it does not show much wear and has some
slight staining on the reverse, nothing really bad. On each sleeve that is an Air Force insignia

the breast pocket there is a U.S. AIR FORCE patch in blue with white
lettering, on the breast pocket there is a patch with a Pegasus on it. Top rocker says “Wings of the
Gunfighter”, bottom rocker says “366th OMS”,
both of these rockers are bordered in gold colored thread. The “OMS” on the unit patch
means that the serviceman was with the “Organizational Maintence
Squadron” so he probably serviced the fighters and bombers. I believe that this field coat is from
around the Vietnam era as the information tag contract number that reads
“DSA100-74-C-1417”. Above
the right breast pocket is a name patch in blue with white lettering
“STARK”. Sewed onto the
right breast pocket is a TACTICAL AIR COMMAND patch which has a shield with a

The plastic sweat shield appears to have been removed a long time ago and there is some writing on it which appears to be “I-AT-8306” the “I’” may actually be a “1”.
