E-477 NAVAL OFFICER'S DAGGER - Made by Carl Eickhorn with his logo stamped into the blade which has the word "ORIGINAL" over the squirrel. Quality brass pieces have a very good finish left on them, this dagger did see use and the scabbard shows that it got caught in doors before as there is some denting to it. The grip is an off white example in very nice condition, it has a tightly wrapped twisted brass wire. The eagle pommel cap has a great finish to it, much more of a brighter gold colored finish to it than the crossguard. The crossguard shows more use as some of its finish is gone, looks like the owner would hold onto the dagger around the crossguard area. The handle does have a knot tied to it which is in excellent condition. The blade is double etched with the fouled anchor design, this blade looks like it was cleaned at some time as there are some slight scratch marks down by the tip, also shows some signs of rust pitting along one of the edges. Scabbard has the deeply etched lightning bolts on it, still retains a good finish and has both hanging rings and scabbard throat screws. Overall a very nice example......$1,100 Photos E-152 ARMY DAGGER - this one has a nice light colored orange handle. Looks like someone has cleaned this one up. Pommel cap is very bright, blade is O.K. but very end is bent. Ferrell does not look as thought it has been cleaned as it is dark. Cross guard on this one is either the worst casting job the Germans ever did or a reproduction (has lots of pits to it). Scabbard is nice and clean and bright, no dings and has both set screws......$280 Photos E-466 ARMY DAGGER – This one is made by Horster and looks to be the last style they produced. On the inside of the pommel cap and crossguard there is a raised letter “H” with a sword within it. The handle is a nice deep orange in color and is in very good condition with only a few very small cracks starting (see photos), this is nothing that is distracting to it. The pommel and crossguard have pretty much lost most of their finish which looks gold with only traces remaining, gray metal is showing. The ferrell is showing more of the gold color finish. The blade is in very nice condition and has a wonderful etched Horster logo on it, there is a leather buffer. The scabbard is dent free, has a sinle domed headed set screw, both fittings with the hanging rings are present. There is some slight gold color left on the upper portion but not much. I am not saying that this dagger was for a General but I can not see any silver finish on any of the metal parts, overall its condition is good……$595 Photos E-478
LUFTWAFFE DAGGER 2ND MODEL - NAMED - This one has the dark orange grip
to it with the tightly twisted wire, wire has discolored due to its age, handle
is in very good condition. The pommel, ferrell and crossguard are all in
good condition and have good detail to them. The reverse of the crossguard
has "Finkbeinder" engraved on it in the pebbled area. Blade shows that it
has been cleaned up at some point, reverse is maker marked "WKC" with the helmet
knights head. Scabbard is in very good condition and has a bright finish
to it. Single throat screw is there as are the two hanging rings......$950

E-479
SA DAGGER -
Made by the SMF company the reverse of this blade has the single open RZM
circle positioned over the "M 7/9", below that is the production date of "1942".
The crossguard still retains a very good nickel finish and has a nice age patina
to them. The wooden handle is in just wonderful condition, has a SA
emblem embedded into the top area of the handle and the porcelain is very good
on it. Has a nicely detailed aluminum eagle which is in very good
condition. The blade is still bright and does have some clouding on it,
the motto is very deeply etched into the blade. Scabbard fittings are in
very good condition and match the condition of the crossguard quite nicely.
Bottom fitting has both set screws present, this fitting shows the most wear to
its finish, the bottom of the ball has a single dent to it, the body of
this scabbard is in excellent condition with virtually all the brown paint
intact. Has the hanging ring and two sets screws on the scabbards upper
fitting. This SA dagger is probably one of the last production ones as
after this date only some award daggers were produced.......$650

E-475 ARMY OFFICER’S
SWORD PORTAPEE – You will have to look far and wide to find one in better
shape than this one is in, does not look like it has ever been used. The
leather is green with the silver stitching, this one would be an excellent
addition to any German WWII Army officers sword…….$115

E-469 GERMAN S.98 INFANTRY BAYONET -
This is the newer of the two styles which has
the two grips pieces, both wooden grips are there, one side has a little damage
to it. The release button works and both grip set screws are there. The
crossguard is marked "26655", looks like there is something stamped into the top
of the pommel which I can not make out. The blade is marked "II E. & F.
Horster, Solingen" and it is dark spotted its entire length. There is no
scabbard with this one......$75 Photos E-460 ARMY PARADE DRESS BAYONET –
This one was made by “E.Pack & Shonne, Solingen” and is stamped on the blade
along with their logo of a man swinging a sledge hammer. This is the long
bladed version with a blade that measures 9 ¾” long. The blade is still
bright and does have the usual runner marks and it does have its leather
buffer still in place. One of the plastic grips has a large piece broken off
just above the crossguard, the release button still works well. The front of
the scabbard still retains a lot of its original black paint while the back
side is missing a large portion of it. This scabbard is not dented but it is
missing the single set screw just above the lug for the frog…….$75

E-390 ARMY PARADE DRESS DAGGER BLADE & POMMEL - This is a parts
dagger, has no release button, plastic grips, leather buffer or scabbard.
The blade on it is maker marked by "Pack & Sohne, Solingen" and
this manufactures logo of the man swinging the sledge hammer is there. The
logo is lightly stamped into the blade, on the tang of the blade there is a box
with a cross in it. The blade itself is still very bright and in good
condition. The pommel is the dove head type and has the slot in it for
attaching to a rifle. Crossguard has the ball end missing from
it. Most usable part of this one is the blade.......$35 Photos
