E-473 BRITISH No. 4 MKII BAYONET - This is the one that is of one piece construction. Side is marked "No. 4 MKII" with a "5" under it, the plunger is also marked with "5". The plunger works and there is a little surface rusting starting on this one. The scabbard is in very good condition and has both of its set screws, top of the throat has a set screw in it and is also marked with a "W".......$30 Photos E-419 1907 BRITISH BAYONET - This is an extremely well marked bayonet and its overall condition is very good. Has a very nice scabbard which still has very good leather on it, all the stitching is intact. Stamped into the leather near the top fitting is "JBB 43", stamped into the top fitting just above the staple is a small circle with "EB" within it. Both the upper and lower fitting have all of their staples. Release button on the pommel works well, the wooden grips do show some wear to them. One of them has a small chip out of it by one of the screw holes. Blade is in nice condition and it looks like it was sharpened at one time, this is a very fine job of it, looks factory done. One side of the blade has several markings stamped into it, three of these are crowns with numbers below them. Two have "66" and one "35", there is also what looks like a large "X" and a number "7". Other side also has a lot of stampings on it. The easiest to read is "1907", "11", and "18". There is a line going through a word that looks like "Sanded", last two letters may be different than I have described. There is also a large crown with what looks like "GR" under it, very lightly done so it is very hard to make out.......$125 Photos J-148 JAPANESE ARMY BAYONET WITH FROG - this bayonet has seen some use, the blade has been sharpened at one time. The blade was cleaned up at one time and it has lost a lot of its dark coloring. There are two marks stamped into it just below the crossguard, one is the Imperial flower and the other is a capital "M" with an arrow going through it. Pommel and crossguard both have some pitting on them from past rust, release button on pommel works well. The crossguard is not bent around on this example, it is straight across. Wood grips are a bit dark and have a worn spot on both of them like the owner was wearing a ring, nothing really bad or deep. The scabbard is dent free and does have the remains of some green paint on it. This scabbard has a green canvas frog on it which was probably put on post WWII. There is writing on both side of it , one side has it in white symbols and the other side has it in black Japanese writing. Overall condition is good on this set up...ON HOLD SALE PENDING...$90 Photos J-149 JAPANESE ARMY BAYONET - TRAINER - the blade on this trainer has had all the dark coloring taken off of it and has never been sharpened. The pommel and crossguard are in good condition, release button on the pommel works well. The two wooden grips are both in good shape, one of them has the number "93" stamped into it. The scabbard has been painted green and is in good condition, there is no frog with this one......$90 Photos J-187 JAPANESE ARMY BAYONET - This one comes with its scabbard, the wooden grips are present but they do show some nicks on them. The release button on the pommel does work, the top of the pommel has some markings stamped into it which I can not make out, also has "87552" stamped on it. The blade is in excellent condition and does have two markings stamped onto it. The scabbard is in good condition and it does have its set screw present.......$100 Photos J-128 JAPANESE BAYONET SCABBARD - has the number "32" painted on the front of it, scabbard has green paint on it. This one has a wide tan canvas post war frog on it with the large wire clip on it for attaching to a web belt. There is a cross strap with button to it.......$35 Photo E-346 ITALIAN WWII BAYONET - this one is dated "PS 1942" on one side of the cross guard and "P 6914" on the other. On the underside of the cross guard it has been stamped with an "0". The release button on the pommel works well, pommel does have some small denting to it where it looks like someone use it to pound on something. The wooden grips look like thy may have been exposed to flame at some time as they are burned a bit. One side actually has a piece of the wood missing and you can see where it was repaired. The blade itself is in good shape. This one comes with a leather scabbard which has metal fittings on both ends. The leather still retains most of its black dye and is marked on the reverse "PS 1942" it may also have an "A or N" after the 1942.......$75 Photos
